After the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the world has been forced into learning precautionary measures to curtailing the spread. Almost all the departments of life’s activities we hitherto enjoyed all were put on lock down.

Everything happened because a highly contagious virus is on the loose in towns and cities and is bent on ensuring it makes an appearance in all the cities of the world.

From elementary school, we learnt about communicable diseases – diseases that can be transferred from one host to another host either by direct contacts or air.

We are aware of communicable diseases, how they can be transferred from one person to another. But is it only diseases that are communicable? 

Somebody wrote that “Misery is a communicable disease” she further advised that “If you feel depressed you shouldn’t go out on the street because it will show on your face and you’ll give it to others.”

Cynthia Ozick identified that resentment is a communicable disease and should be quarantined.

If all these negatives – diseases, miseries, resentments, depression etc. are all communicable what makes you think there is no technology in the spirit for transference of lofty spiritual virtues?
